Environmental Concerns

A.Y.N., on its way to a sustained, responsible education program for its suppliers, succeeded in developing approximately 95% of our products to comply with the Eco Tex (Öko Tex) Standard 100, an international testing and certification system for textiles, limiting the use of certain harmful chemicals.

In order to even increase the amount of products which comply with the Eco Tex (Öko Tex) certificate, A.Y.N. is focusing on the major environmental concerns like eco design and its multiple aspects. Close cooperation with our suppliers enables us to directly influence the manufacturing process of our products, which comply with the requirements of the modern, ecologically oriented society

Eco-designs

A.Y.N. emphasizes on the sustainable design of its products throughout their whole life cycle. Eco-design is an approach which involves all environmental aspects in the manufacturing process of a certain product, like the consumption of resources, emissions, etc. in the product life cycle phases: procurement, manufacture, use and disposal.

Eco-innovation

The technological aspect of eco-innovation is closely linked to eco-design; its intention is the development of new products and processes with less impact on the environment. At A.Y.N., eco-innovation accompanies the principle of eco-design.
