A.Y.N. environmental concerns

A.Y.N., on its way to an unrelenting, responsible education program for its suppliers succeeded in developing approximately 95% of the articles to offer to the Oeko Tex Standards 100.

A.Y.N., in past, has developed special articles like zippers, snap button and padding which met all the ecological requirements.

At present we are focusing on the major environmental concerns like eco design and its various aspects. And with the close co operation with suppliers, we are able to exert direct influence on the development of products, which are in line with requirements of the modern ecologically oriented society.

Eco designs

We are also working on the issue of sustainable design on a large scale through the life cycle assessment of each type of product, which is an approach where all energy inputs to a product are accounted for, where not only direct energy inputs needed to produce components, but also the materials and services needed for the manufacturing process. Also sustainability of each product after it is manufactured is one of the prime factors here.

Eco innovation

Eco innovation is the second major concern at A.Y.N. as products under this category describe the products and processes that contribute to the sustainable development. It is the commercial application of knowledge to elicit direct or indirect ecological improvements.

Green development

We, other than eco design and eco innovation are emphasizing on green /sustainable development as well, which focuses not only on the environmental issues but more broadly, emphasizes on the three general policy areas; economic, environmental and social as well. This is so because we at A.Y.N. are highly concerned about environmental sustainability, which is defined as the ability of the environment to continue to function properly indefinitely. This involves meeting the present needs of humans without endangering the welfare of the future generations.

Another goal towards which A.Y.N. is right now working to minimize environmental degradation and to halt and reverse the processes they lead to.

The future oriented daily interaction between man and nature is one of the most important pre requisites for A.Y.N. in meeting the requirements of the market successfully in the long term.
