Quality Control
At A.Y.N., quality does not only refer to the product itself, but we are seeking to constantly improve A.Y.N. as a whole. This includes besides our products the regular analysis and improvement of business processes, the continuing education of our personnel, as well as the improvement of ecological aspects throughout the value chain.
Other than many competitors in the textile industry, A.Y.N. also makes extensive use of electronic data processing systems to speed up our internal business processes. All of these efforts will account for superior product and service quality with an excellent cost-performance-ratio and a minimum delivery time.
Our on site Quality-Control department carefully inspects every single product before it gets delivered to the customer. In the process, our testers consider international regulations, the customers’ specifications and the designated use of the product. Due to this procedure, A.Y.N. has earned the trust of leading companies in the textile industry worldwide.
Our quality management procedure consists of three columns:
- Quality control
- Quality assurance
- Continuous improvement
To assure the quality of our products at global level and to satisfy our customers with safety and reliability on our products,A.Y.N. quality management department is responsible to study world laws and regulations, test and monitor the quality level of the products, unification of product specification and other activities to assure product quality to our global business partners.
Quality Control
Every product delivered to us from the manufacturing facilities will be checked carefully in the course of the incoming goods inspection. Only if the product meets the set requirements, it will get stored in our warehouse and will be prepared for dispatch.
Quality Assurance
At A.Y.N., we only provide you with proper products that comply with international regulations regarding the use of different additives. Our QM department performs random laboratory test regularly for different kinds of illegitimate additives and monitors the compliance with several regulations and/or certificates. The three most important ones are shown below (click for details):
Anti nickel regulations have stemmed from the problem of nickel itch, an allergic reaction to nickel metals and nickel finishes. The European community has adopted regulations to limit the use of nickel where it comes in contact with the skin or penetrates the body.
The Eco Tex Standards, issued by the Eco Tex Institute, is the most well known certification concerned to the testing of restricted substances on textiles and garment accessories world wide.
The Eco Tex Standards 100 applies specifically to the testing of harmful substances on textiles and garment accessories.
REACH is a European Community Regulation on CHemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006). It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical substances. The regulation became effective on 1 June 2007.
The aim of REACH is to improve the protection of human health and the environment through the better and earlier identification of the intrinsic properties of chemical substances. At the same time, innovative capability and competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry should be enhanced. The benefits of the REACH regulation will be achieved gradually, as more and more substances are phased into REACH
Continuous improvement
In terms of design, the accessories are chosen in sync with the brand image of each of our customers while considering upcoming trends. Thus our customers get everything they require from trims for garments and accessories etc under one roof without having to compromise in any aspects.
Quality control is guaranteed by way of permanent goods control and laboratory tests. All of A.Y.N.’s suppliers undertook and this is confirmed by laboratory tests that the articles will meet A.Y.N.’s quality standard and are free from dyes and metals, which are prohibited under German, respectively European law.
